Monday Musings: Super Bowl Edition

Hey guys,

First off, I have to thank Carole over at Carole's Chatter for featuring my blog for the months of February/March. Thanks, Carole! It is nice to know that my blogging is appreciated. There are so many times where I wonder, as many bloggers do, if my words mean anything. It's encouragement like that as well as truly having a love for blogging that keeps this little blog going. ;)

Next, I just wanted to remind everyone of my current giveaway. Be sure to enter and don't miss out on a good read. ;) Deadline is February 13, 2013. (I just typed 2012, will I ever get used to 2013?!;)

Little Mister watching the big game with daddy.

So last night was the BIG game. I am thankful that my husband is a football fan, but not an obsessed one. We enjoy the Super Bowl and watching games every now and then when we can, but we are not what you would call avid fans of the sport. So last night was a lot of fun. John and I being on the east coast, rooted for the Ravens, so we were pretty happy with the end result. ;)

Yeah, Buddy! What a game?!

I also enjoyed the commercials. It ranged from very funny to tear jerkers.

"God made farmers." I just love it!

This one was pretty cute.

Too funny!

Just wow. I don't think you can watch this one without tears.

Probably my favorite funny one.

More tears. I'm a sucker for pet stories.

Every Super Bowl party needs some good eats. This year, I didn't go all out. We had a few snacks and such because we were unsure of whether or not we would even get to watch. (We currently don't have cable, but will be joining the many of you that do very soon. Unfortunately, Charter is making it where it will actually be cheaper for us to bundle now than to just pay for internet. :/ ) So here are some fun ideas from Pinterest, there's always next year, right?!

How was your Super Bowl Party? Did you watch? Sound off below. :)
