Weekend Roundup!

Hey everyone,

We are at the beginning of another week. Is it just me or is this year flying?! Anyway, before we begin my Weekend Roundup!

I thought I would share the news from my follow-up appointment. Overall, good news! My tests came back normal for the most part. We did discover that I have a vitamin D deficiency, so I will be taking vitamin D once a week, along with my multi-vitamins. (I need to get back in the habit of taking those.) The doctor also put me on some meds that should help me sleep better at night, sounds good to me! ;) This plus getting back into exercise and I should be a much happier Anna. I feel good just knowing and working towards the solution. :) :) :) I will go back in six weeks for a follow-up to this, to evaluate how things are going. My appointment is on Halloween, so that should be pretty interesting! On a similar note, the scratch above my lip has nearly healed. My knee is bruised and was throbbing last night, it's a ugly yellow color, but overall feeling fine!

Friday: I watched You've Got Mail (One of my all-time favorite movies!Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are just adorable in this movie!)and painted my nails. What do you think? ;) My nails are Gunmetal (It's not that dark in person!) and my toenails are Berry Red. It was a pretty fun and relaxing night. I had my house smelling pumpkiny from my candles and me smelling pumpkiny from my spiced pumpkin lotion. :)

***Just ignore the mess on the coffee table. ;)

Saturday: John and I had a quiet evening at home. We ordered in Chinese food and watched A Goofy Movie and All About Steve. A Goofy Movie is pretty nostalgic for me, I still crack up over Lester's opossum park.;) I had never watched All about Steve, but it was slightly better than I thought it would be. The first half of the movie was hard to get through, but I think the second half made it worth the watch. :) I loved the use of words and Mary's crazy red boots!

Sunday: John and I went to church and really enjoyed the service. We had a guest speaker, because our pastor is currently recovering from heart surgery. I think the guest speaker did a wonderful job. The message was on "His Love Endures Forever." He talked about how we often take things into our own hands and when we fail we are embarrassed and don't want to go to God. The thing is, is that God loves us regardless of all of the messes we make, regardless of us not spending enough time with him, regardless of anything you can think of. We need to remember that we can't do this journey alone and we need God to be the driver of our lives. It was a great way to begin the week and I hope to keep this message with me throughout the week and beyond!

After church, we headed to Monroe to check out some rental properties. We first stopped at Applebee's and enjoyed a tasty lunch. We didn't have any luck with the rental stuff, but it was nice to go on a Sunday drive. :)

After that we returned home and us plus Sophie went for a walk. It was a beautiful day and I've really been enjoying the cooler weather! We then did some cleaning and I heated up leftovers for dinner. After dinner we watched, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (better than I thought it would be, thanks to Alan Rickman (my older crush! shhhh! ;) and Letters to Juliet. I have to say I don't love Romeo and Juliet or Amanda Seyfried. I did, however, love this movie! I'm very much the sappy hopeless romantic and this movie fed that monster in me. ;)

So that was our weekend. How was yours? :)
