Hey everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good, a lot more low key than Memorial Day weekend. ;)
Friday: Grocery store trip and I picked up a friend's long over due graduation gift. We also went by Academy and picked up tennis/workout supplies and I got two nice pairs of bermuda shorts. (not much to tell here)
Saturday: My school stuff came in. (I know I haven't updated you guys on that.) So now is as good a time as any. ;) After researching a few schools, prayer, and talks with the hubby...I decided to enroll in a correspondence/online school. I'm now studying to be a Medical Transcriptionist. (I actually read some intro stuff for my course, before posting this.) :) I'm very excited and feel that this will fit my personality perfectly. (I have the option of working from home. This would be pretty awesome because John and I hope to have children in a few years. I would love the option of being at home with them. I really look forward to that.) So that's where I am with school. After the excitement of getting my school stuff settled, we headed to Goodwill. We dropped off some stuff and picked up some new treasures.
I found the following:
Complete Sushi set (for John, the man is obsessed);) (I think this one had been opened, but gently used)
Pier 1 candles (never been opened)

I've decided that I don't want my kids to be obsessed with material possessions. I'm kinda breaking the rules with books. I want them to have the best book collection ever! :D We ended the day with playing tennis at the park and watching Why Did I get Married Too? This movie will make you want to hug your spouse a little closer and be thankful for the love you share. Tyler Perry seriously knows how to pull at my heart strings!
Sunday: We had a pretty lazy day. We listened to a church broadcast on the radio. We watched random stuff on Netflix and did some cleaning.
So that was my weekend. How was yours?
<3 Anna
What a great weekend. OF course anything including books makes it great! I thought about pursuing training in being a medical transcriptionist.... but it just didn't seem right for me. Glad you are excited about it. Thanks for the movie recommendation.
