Hey everyone,
It's time for another edition of Friday Favorites! :) For those who are new to my blog, this is a post where I share my favorite things about this week.
I didn't share this before, but one of my favorite things about this week is that my sea monkeys hatched! I know that is so random, but a couple of weeks ago, I found a sea monkey kit, and decided to try it out. It's been pretty neat, watching the little guys swim around. They are so interesting looking...yep, that's the nerd in me talking! ;)
A few friends have recommended this show to me, but it wasn't until this week that I watched it on netflix. If you enjoy British humor, you should check this out. It's pretty funny! Hyacinth reminds me of my hubby's sweet grandmother, she gave all of her grand kids etiquette books one Christmas! John enjoys sharing that story, but he knows she meant well. ;)
I've enjoyed eating fresh veggies from our garden and buying fruit on sale. There something about the summer time that makes me crave fruits and veggies! :)
Water, water, and more water! It has been so hot this week, I can't get enough water!
As I've said in previous posts, I started my Medical Transcript courses this week. The first lesson was over medical terminology mostly. It was tough, but I think I'm becoming a medical terminology nerd. I'm really enjoying what I'm learning and can see how it will be helpful in a lot of areas. (Including when I become a mom one day and notice a rash or other ailment involving my child) As you can tell I started lesson 2 and am learning about the Integumentary System (Skin and all things involving skin!)
Yesterday was Johnny Depp's 48th birthday! I watched Benny and Joon for the first time and loved it! :) Here's a link to an article on Johnny Depp's many roles!http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/09/johnny-depps-48th-birthday-crazy-costumes-photos_n_873719.html#s289635
Well that's all for this week! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
