Hope you are all having a wonderful Friday! I know, I am! :) So today I thought I would introduce a new blog theme. (I did this in an earlier blog with a slightly different format.) I've seen this theme in different ways and on different days for various blogs. So I thought I would join in on the fun.
Each Friday I will post my favorite things for that week. (If I don't have anything to post, I won't. lol Nothing strict about this theme. ;) So on to this weeks fabulous choices!
This past weekend, I went to VA to visit my mother-in-law. (Memorial Day Post on Monday) She had these delicious treats in her candy dish. I've had them before and didn't think much of them. For some reason this weekend, I got hooked! I don't know why they haven't had these babies sooner!
Something you will learn about me is that I'm not a big makeup wearer. When I do wear make up, it's very light. I saw this cute set in Big Lots for like $4.50 and thought it would be fun to try. I really like it! The colors are fun and transfer over easily for day or night wear. I'm pretty happy with my purchase. :)
I started reading this book over the weekend. It's been pretty amazing and really makes me think. It challenges me to be a better person and want more in my life. (I'll probably do a review on it when I finish it.)
I bought this when I was shopping for Mother's day gifts. It smells so fresh and clean. It's a happy scent! :)
I got introduced to Cafe Intermezzo a few weeks ago, when visiting The Shakespeare Tavern. It was amazing! If you ever visit Atlanta, Ga. You must check this place out! I had an almond fudge cake with marshmallow in the middle. It was probably the best cake I've ever had! I also had their peppermint mocha. It was just perfect. (I have these phases where I need to get my peppermint fix in...why not do it with chocolate?!;)

ReplyDeleteNever heard of those Snickers peanut butter treats, but I KNOW that they HAVE to be good!!! I've never had a Snickers that I didn't like. Honestly, they can even make dirt taste good.
