So I changed my mind...

Hey guys!

I am a big fan of the Spiderman Trilogy with Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst. So when I heard they were doing the reboot I was hesitant about how it would play out.

That is until I read the Glamour's Guy Obsession for the month: Andrew Garfield.

So yeah...I'm a shallow girl. He's a cutie!

He's actually the perfect build for Peter Parker, which I wasn't sure if they could find or even consider. (I'm a nerd about these things.)

He sounds like a perfectly down-to-earth guy.

The article and pictures won me over. I'm definitely going to give this movie a chance. Hubby also knows that Andrew Garfield is on my list. ( My Celebrity Pretend Future Husband list;)

So what do you think of Mr. Garfield? What are your thoughts on the new movie?

Madea's Big Happy Family and more!

Hey everyone,

Last Thursday: My sister came for a visit and we had a lazy day at the house. We talked and watched random stuff on Netflix. We got delivery and then headed out to grab some needed groceries and I grabbed Mother's Day presents. (For some reason I thought that Mother's day was this Sunday coming up...Oh well, my shopping is done!)

Last Friday: I spent much of the day cleaning and cooking. My mother made a delicious lasagna and brought some breadsticks. I mixed up some salads and made these tasty smore bars from All You. You can check out the recipe here: http://www.allyou.com/food/celebrations/tailgate-party-00411000071952/page9.html

Mine didn't look as perfect as these, but they tasted great! ;)

We then headed to our nearby theatre (Carmike) and saw Madea's Big Happy Family. The story follows a lady named Shirley who receives bad news from her doctor. All she wants is to share this news with her children over dinner. This is easier said than done, all of her children are dealing with various issues of their own and can't seem to put themselves aside to honor her wishes. Of course, until Madea steps in with her brand of antics and humor. The best way I know to describe this movie is to say, that I laughed 95% of the movie and cried the other 5. The best scenes include the drive thru scene with Madea (shown in previews), some scenes with Maury, and of course all the family together. The movie deals with a lot of adult situations and themes, I wouldn't recommend this movie for young children. Overall, it was a movie that lived up to it's predecessors and had the perfect balance of laughs and tears. I would definitely recommend it! ;)

I forgot to answer one of these questions yesterday, so I'll answer two today.

19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?

We are actually looking to move next year, places that we are thinking of are: North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and South Carolina.

North Carolina is our top pick because it would be perfectly in between our parents and we would like to not be too far away from our parents, especially if we have children.

Tennessee is an option because we both love it there and it would also be close to family.

Kentucky is a contender because John has family there.

and lastly, South Carolina is near family as well as friends.

If I moved out of the country, I think I would move to Ireland. I've always wanted to go and it looks serene and beautiful!

20. Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?

Most of the time someone gets to the button before I do. I usually try to be patient and only push it once.
