10 Months Old!

Hey everyone!

Oh my! My sweet little mister has hit the double digits! 10 Months! Wow, where does the time go?!

Sweet boy,

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful boy like you. You are so full of joy and it's just contagious! How could anyone not love you?! Your personality is shining more and more and we are seeing a tiny person become who you are meant to be. We can honestly say that we have the best job in the world. We get to be your parents! :)

I don't know why the words didn't come out well on this picture, but it says "10 months old! Little Mister isn't so tiny anymore!

You like:

• Crawling and cruising EVERYWHERE!
• Playing with everything, but your toys!
• Meow and Stripers your stuffed kitties
• I think cats have replaced elephants now, but they are still one of your favorites!
• Music---you stop whatever mischief you are into and listen. It has always soothed you and continues to do so!
• Spending time with mommy and dada.
• People---especially girls! ;)
• Animals---especially cats and dogs
• Making raspberry noises
• Playing peek-a-boo
• Playing with your bath toys in the tub and pool!
• Pulling things out of the drawers and off tables---we have to be especially careful now. You are into everything!

You dislike:

• Diaper/clothing changes---anything that slows you down really.
• Loud noises (such as vacuum cleaner, sometimes Sophie barking loudly, public restrooms with the very loud flush.)
• Having things taken away.
• boundaries
• You have separation anxiety at times.
• Being told no. 
• Performing---you don't like it when mommy tries to get you to walk independently.

Learning:

• You are standing independently much more often!
• You have taken your first steps. Right now you take a couple of steps and fall. You are not yet completely confident of your walking skills. You are more comfortable cruising, but your confidence is growing and you will be walking more and more in no time!
• Crawling and Cruising are a joke now. You get around so fast!
• You have two teeth that are visible on the bottom and one still coming in. You have been drooling a lot this week, so we think more are on the way!
• You eat pretty much everything we eat. (We chop up his food and don't give him any of the big allergy no-no's.)
• No new words. You babble A LOT now! You still say mama and dada. We thought you said bye once or twice, but since we are not totally sure we are not counting that one yet. ;)
• As I said before your personality is showing more and more. You are a little camera ham. You love getting pictures taken and watching videos of yourself and other babies.
• You are very happy more times than not. You love to play the "paci" game with mommy and sometimes dada too.  A funny thing that you will do is when I offer you your cup or food, you will spit your paci right out and grab for your food and stuff it in your mouth. It is pretty funny to watch!

We love you sweet boy! You are such a blessing in our lives!
