Healthier Tavern Burgers and Homemade Potato Chips

Hey guys!

I'm sharing another recipe today. The first is for my "Healthier Tavern Burgers."

Healthier Tavern Burgers (This recipe was created from one of my crock pot cookbooks and suggestions from a friend.)

You will need:

1 1lb ground lean beef or turkey
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup mustard
2 roma tomatoes (diced)
a handful of baby carrots (diced)
1 zuchinni
a sprinkling of garlic powder
1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
hamburger buns

1. Brown the meat and drain. Then place in crockpot. Add ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
2. Dice vegetables (You can use a food processor if you have one) Add to crockpot.
3. Add final seasonings and let cook. You are basically heating up the meat and cooking the vegetables, so you won't need to keep them cooking for too long.
4. Place on buns and serve! Enjoy!

This recipe is a great way to sneak some veggies into your diet and a child's diet. ;)

The next recipe I found on Pinterest and was pretty amazed by it! You have to try it out to believe it!
