Me and Exercise, a Love/Hate Relationship

Hey everyone,

If you are anything like me, you probably are not enthusiastic when it comes to exercise. I have come to the conclusion that I HATE it. I love the rush of endorphins afterwards. I love feeling better about myself and that sense of accomplishment, but it takes ALOT to get me there. I read an article recently from Good Housekeeping that helped me to realize that I'm not alone. http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/health/wellness/benefits-of-exercise

This article gives practical advice to those of us who are exercise phobes. ;) It also helped me to realize that alot of my issues with exercise are related to how I perceive exercise. (Exercise=EVIL!) So with the holidays coming up and all the usual distractions, I'm going to try to put some of these into practice. If any of you have any good fitness or health tips, please feel free to share. I can use all the help I can get! ;) Plus I'm sure others would benefit from it as well.

  2. I'm in the same boat as you, it's just starting it that's the hard part but I feel good once I do it

  3. Oh, I feel the same way! Although right now I am doing physical therapy because of my injury so I actually am doing a 'bit' of exercise. ;) I always feel good afterwards but, to start is always hard!!!

  4. Aww. What do you do when you workout? Maybe you should change it up a bit so you don't hate it so much :) :)
