Weekend Roundup!

Hey everyone!

I'm happy to say that I was able to catch up on my z's. My mom advised me to tilt and flip the mattress, we did last night and I'm feeling a lot better. It's a wonder that something so small can have a big effect on things. We have almost finished our spring cleaning, we need to finish up our bedroom and the guest bedroom.

This is leading me to think about what internal changes I want to make in myself. I need to get organized and prepare myself for whatever God has in store for me. Two areas I feel I really struggle in is time management and being disciplined. These two go hand in hand. I need to set up a sort of schedule for myself, nothing too strict, but something to help me to keep my focus. I also need to figure out what is important and what can take a back seat. I think once I get these fleshed out, I'll feel a lot better about things. I know the cleaning and purging of the house is doing wonders!

On another note, the weather has been pretty crazy here. I'm going to try and get some pictures of the garden to post this week...not much going on there though. I hope the weather will get a bit more regulated soon.

And one more thing: If you ever go to Walmart to get a tag for your dog, be sure to check the spelling. Our dog's name is Sophie. I didn't even notice until yesterday, the typo...apparently, someone thinks our dog's name is Sopie! We had a good laugh about it. The important thing is they got the address right!

12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?

I would encourage them to not worry and to live their life to the fullest.

hmmm let me see...maybe I'll tell him/her to cherish the moment when he/she was a baby coz when it passes by it will be forever gone :-)

  5. It does make a huge difference to flip the mattress. It's work - but it's worth it!

  11. I would say to a newborn, don't forget where you came from and where you are going and work your bum off your whole life to get back to that place. Newest follower. thanks for stopping by.
