More Springy Stuff

Hey everyone!

Spring is definitely in the air and it's on to day 4 of:

4. What are some recommendations for products you'll be using this spring as you're headed outdoors more?
(March 24)

1. Burt’s Bees lip balm
2. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer
3. Banana boat sunblock
4. Veet In-Shower removal cream
5. Lots and lots of water

1. Burt's Bees lip balm- I use this stuff year round...my lips get chapped regardless the season. This is the best lip balm I've ever used.

2. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer- First I must say I'm not a tanner. I bought this last year and used it once or twice. I'm going to be in a wedding in September and have decided to actually try and use this stuff. If someone knows of a better product, let me know;)

3. Banana Boat sunblock- This probably looks counter productive to tanning...but skin cancer runs in my family. I do my best to be cautious and not get burnt.

4. Veet In Shower removal cream- I know this one sounds sort yucky, but this stuff is awesome. It works really. :)

5. Lots and lots of water- I easily get dehydrated and since I'll be outdoors more. I'll need all the water I can get.

  1. I adored the Dove self tanning lotion because it didn't turn me orange, and i felt like the Jergen's did. BUUUT I haven't been able to find the Dove in a loooong time. Which is sad.

And Veet has never worked for me. :( And I have to be careful about what I use on my legs because they're ultra sensitive. Like, I can only use the Venus razors. Disposable razors will cause MAJOR shave burn. :(

Look for a blog today on my thoughts about Spring. :D

  2. Thanks for the tip, I haven't bought the Jergens yet, so I still have time to shop around.

That stinks about Veet...it helps me with my laziness in the shaving dept. ;)

    I've already read and commented:)

  3. Great list -- was about to ask about the Veet but guess we got our answer -- bummers. Heaven to me would be the end of shaving-- lol!!!
    I LOVE anything Burt's Bees!

  4. So I've used Veet in the past, or maybe it was nair, and it didn't smell very nice. Have they fixed that? I despise shaving, so if this works and doesn't smell too badly I would go back to trying it.

  5. @ Cyn: lol, and on Burt's Bees me too! :)

@ Meghan: The Veet stuff I get has an okay smell. It's not overly fragrant though. It's much better than Nair, the smell of Nair grosses me out.
