* Also don't forget that September 7 is the last day to submit guest blog posts. Just shoot me a comment if you are interested.
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 37 weeks!
How Far Along: 37 weeks!
Size of baby:
Your baby's the size of a winter melon!
Yay! Baby has reached full term. He likely measures around 18.9
to 20.9 inches and weighs about 6.2 to 9.2 pounds. He's gaining about 1/2 ounce
each day.
Baby
Development This Week:
- He's practicing some skills:
inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping and blinking.
- He's getting his first sticky
poop (called meconium) ready for his first diaper.
Maternity Clothes: Regular shirts (shirts are getting a little small, thinking I
might need a couple of maternity shirts), stretchy capris/maternity bottoms.
Gender: IT’S A BOY! John Declan Leviner! He will
be called Declan. Declan is of Irish origin and means full of goodness. J
Movement: He’s still
kicking and moving, but is running out of space. He will be here before we know
it!
Sleep: Sleep has been a little better lately, I think
it’s because I’ve just been so exhausted. Naps have become a regular part of my
schedule again…lol. I’m enjoying it while I can. ;)
What I miss: Just feeling
normal---not feeling huge and hot all the time!
Cravings: Just lots and lots of fluids.
Symptoms: heartburn,
harder to move around and lean over, backaches, fatigue, feet swelling, some nausea.
Best Moment this week: We had a great
doctor’s visit on Friday. Declan is in position and everything is right on
schedule. I have a feeling he will come very close to his due date, if not later.
Great update. Hang in there! Soon now to truly " meet" Declan!
ReplyDeleteAnna, would you please send me the guest blogger form again...I can't find mine:)Thanks!!! Glad you and Declan are still doing wonderfully!!!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting, Anna! It seems like it has gone by so quickly, but then again I'm not the one that's pregnant. ;) Hope these next few weeks go smoothly for you! Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteAny time now! I remember the last few weeks feeling like they were taking forever. Try to take this time to relax and rest up for labor! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the name....full of goodness. And the size of a watermelon...wow. Totally excited for you!!!
