Hey everyone,
Hope you all have had a great day! It's definitely been a Monday. I'm glad to be sitting still for a bit. Now to update you all on our weekend.
If you wish to hear about Friday's activities go here:http://annaleviner13.blogspot.com/2011/07/spa-night.html
Saturday: Caroline and I had a lazy day at the house. I made spaghetti for dinner and we then headed to the mall. Caroline had been looking forward to the trip all day. She got some presents for her family and I got some really cute jewelry on sale. :) I also (later that night) ordered some new stuff from Kohl's...can't wait for it to arrive. My wardrobe definitely needs the boost! Caroline got sick on the car ride home. :/ Since none of the rest of us got sick, we are thinking it was a combination of the heat and dinner not agreeing with her stomach. We are thankful it wasn't a virus! She felt much better once we got home and was able to freshen up. We ended the night watching Diary of A Wimpy Kid. It was a really cute movie!
Sunday: We missed church (alarm clock troubles:( (I'm thinking John is cutting off the alarm in his sleep. :/ I have come up with some remedies for this.) We then headed to Gigi's Cupcakes to pick up our order. We got cupcakes for Caroline's family and ours. We then grabbed a quick bite to eat for lunch and headed on to Caroline's house. The cupcakes were slightly melted, much to my disappointment, but everyone seemed happy to see them. We talked a bit with Caroline's parents about their trip and they even got us a really sweet smelling candle. Anyone, who knows me know I love candles! :) We said our goodbyes and headed to my great-grandparents house. It was great to enjoy cupcakes with everyone. I got to talk a little with my great-grandmother about sewing and she gave me her old sewing machine. (I will have to find a way to pick it up from her home and the bobbin on it needs to be fixed. Other than that, it's good.) I'm very excited about getting back into sewing. I also started work on my Etsy store again. I haven't posted anything yet, but I'm working on getting my ideas together and getting it more organized. I'm also excited about getting back into crafting and making things again.
Overall, it was a great weekend! :)
