Hey everyone,
Yesterday evening hubby and I did a bit of grocery/retail therapy shopping. ;) I got some great spring decorations and some stuff just for fun. (thanks, tax refund)
I had this basket leftover from making gift baskets---so I found these super cute eggs and use them to decorate the coffee table:)
We got these super cute sheep at Kroger, don't EWE love them?! ;)
Found this salt and pepper shaker at Target...isn't it adorable?!
The salt and pepper shaker with the flowers I got a couple of weeks ago at Michaels.
This baking mit and pot holder set was only a dollar at Target!
Also got the matching dish towel set also a dollar:)
Got this very festive sign from Kroger.
Here are a few spring things I already had:
Flower candy dish, I'm pretty sure I got this our first year of marriage.
The inside of the dish
We pretty much use this tea kettle year round, but I thought it looked springy;)
These are also up year round, but I think they fit in the springy category also.
I also got a few treats just for me;)
My new rain boots...I seriously can't wait for it to rain...I'll probably wear them before that to work in the garden;)
New nail polish, I can't wait to use!
*** Target is now having a really great movie sale. We found movies for $2.00 and up. I also bought the third season of Diners, Drive In's, and Dives for 7.50! If you are a movie lover, you should definitely check it out. ;) ***
6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich? There would be two jobs that would make me rich---
1) Writing- I would continue to blog, write children's and young adult books.
2) Humanitarian work- I really want to make a difference in this world. I want to die and know that I worked really hard to make this world a better place. I have big dreams and I hope even beyond this question I can achieve them.
